On Saturday 19 January a happy bunch of jeans-wearing members turned up for Tescos first event in 2008, held at the Uhwiesen Werkgebäude - square dancing. Following the instructions of our competent and patient caller, Jeannette Stäuble, most members ventured onto the dance floor and demonstrated their competence in square dancing in their own special way. Initially, directions were confused, instructions misinterpreted and two left feet predominated. However, as the evening progressed, a general improvement was apparent and a great feeling of achievement filled the air. The evening ended all too quickly, which just goes to show how enjoyable it was.

Our thanks go to Bob, the best barman in the world, for taking care of our liquid needs and also to all those members who kindly brought snacks to help us keep up our stamina.
